Hotel San Carlo

Everything was simply nice. Check in was easy, hotel was quirky, locations was best possible very close to the amazing beautiful lake. It was centrally located for seeing Lac Cultural Center. The rooms were neat with a comfortable bed & helpful staff.

This place was spotless and had great location and staff. Comfortable beds, central heating, multi-channel television and a writing desk in the room. It was tidy, bigger then in most Lugano hotels.

I loved that it was clean and cozy, the staff were helpful and rooms were good-sized. The location was peaceful, at a moderate distance from a sprawling park.

The staff was especially helpful, the hotel was spotless and placed in an old part of the city close enough to all transport and historical centre. I had a good stay overall, the room I stayed in was nicely furnished with a bathroom, a comfortable bed. I was offered a savoury breakfast at a reasonable price.

View was perfect, breakfast was tasty, and beds were exceptionally comfortable. Responsive staff, always with a smile. Had hot drinks in the tapas bar.

Everything was excellant, the service was excellent! Awesome bread, cheese and eggs to every taste. Had warm drinks in the tapas bar in the evening.

Lovely location, fine, warm room. A flat-screen TV with cable channels, a writing desk and a private entrance in the room and the extra comfortable bed. The hotel was fairly clean and every staff member was very professional. There was a stunning restaurant, a shopping street and a market next door. Loved food selection, meals were cheap and they have plenty of options.

It was surely a very comfortable stay. I booked the double room, the place was clean. Staff were ready to help, reasonably good team. The location was absolutely perfect, within easy walking distance of fondazione gabriele e anna braglia art museum.

We really loved this hotel. We think it's a lovely place for staying in Lugano. It's based in the center of the city.
